Christopher Mubemba is a Lecturer at The University of Zambia 

Since 1986 Mr Mubemba has served in various senior engineering posts in Zambia including Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines, lecturing at The University of Zambia, as well as multiple posts within ZESCO including: the Department of Electrotechnical Services, Generation and Transmission; Department of Generation Planning and Design Engineering Development; Department of Transmission Rehabilitation Power Rehabilitation Project; and Project Director executing the USD 2 billion Kafue Gorge Lower Hydroelectric project on behalf of ZESCO Limited. His last position at ZESCO was Director of Transmission which he left in early 2015 to rejoin The University of Zambia as a member of the academic staff.

Mr Mubemba holds a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, U.K. He is a Member and Chartered Engineer of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, U.K., and a Fellow and Registered Engineer of the Engineering Institution of Zambia.
