About CIDRZ

The Centre for Infectious Diseases Research in Zambia (CIDRZ) is a non governmental organization established in collaboration with the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). CIDRZ focus is research, training and service delivery in the area of HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment, and maternal –child health. CIDRZ has grown exponentially and developed into an international leader in the prevention of HIV transmission from Mother to Child, capacity building and program management in developing countries.

Working at CIDRZ

The CIDRZ workforce is a community of people with diverse cultural, educational and geographic backgrounds. This lends itself well to the organization’s mission: the fight against HIV/AIDS. The staff include research, health service, I.T. and administrative personnel. Applications for posted positions should be submitted to our human resource department.
