On Monday 23rd July, the Chongwe District Council Chairman administered the first vaccine against rotavirus. The response from the community was overwhelmingly supportive with the District Maternal Child Health Unit filled with mothers eager to have their babies vaccinated. CIDRZ’s Programme for Awareness and Elimination of Diarrhoea (PAED) works in collaboration with the Ministry of Community Development, Mother and Child Health and is supported by Absolute Return for Kids (ARK) a UK charity
