Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia (CIDRZ) celebrated 20 years of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Zambia with a 2.0km (Two Kilometres) fun walk and run.
CIDRZ has been working in HIV prevention, care and treatment implementing both direct services and technical support to the Zambian Ministry of Health with funding from the United States President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) in partnership with CDC.

The Gavi delegation, led by Senior Country Manager Jamilya Sherova, joined the national Expanded Programme on Immunisation (EPI) team, led by Dr Jacob Sakala, as they listened to a briefing from the Ngombe Urban Health Centre Medical Superintendent during a visit to observe immunisation service delivery.
