We are thrilled to have concluded the International Week of the Deaf with a vibrant and collaborative event at the Chawama Rise UP! House. Together with our partner, RISE UP! CIDRZ’s USAID Zambia CHEKUP I DREAMS initiative hosted a hands-on baking session that brought together deaf participants and community members. This activity not only fostered community empowerment but also highlighted the importance of inclusivity and support for Deaf. The event aimed to enhance skills while promoting awareness and celebrating the contributions of the Deaf community.
