On 1^st May,2022, the Centre for infectious Disease Research in Zambia joined the rest of the Nation in commemorating the 2022 Labour Day celebrations whose theme was ‘Accelerating Social-Economic Transformation through Sustainable and Decent Job Creation Amidst Covid-19.’

Aside from joining the national celebrations, CIDRZ held Labour Day and employee award ceremonies to celebrate 20 years of Leadership in Scientific Excellence for a Healthy Zambia and to appreciate its employees for their hard work and dedication.
