DHAPP HQ Team Visits CIDRZ to Review Progress on the DoD HIV/AIDS Prevention Programme.

Dr Anne Thomas, Chief of DHAPP's Strategic Information Branch and VMMC Prevention Lead, sharing valuable feedback with the team.

The US Department of Defense HIV/AIDS Prevention Program (DHAPP) headquarters team recently visited the CIDRZ Head Office to review the progress of the DoD HIV/AIDS Prevention Programme, which CIDRZ is implementing in partnership with the Defence Force of Zambia (DFZ).

The DHAPP team, led by Dr Anne Thomas, Chief of DHAPP’s Strategic Information Branch and VMMC Prevention Lead, attended presentations by DFZ and CIDRZ representatives, who provided updates on project achievements and future goals.

The United States Government has joined forces with the DFZ through the Department of Defence to enhance healthcare delivery across Zambia. This support includes alternative power solutions, digital equipment for SmartCare Pro implementation, and Starlink and biometric technology for secure data management, all essential to maintaining uninterrupted HIV care, treatment, and data operations at DFZ health facilities nationwide.
