CIDRZ welcomed a courtesy visit from the International Vaccine Institute (IVI) in Lusaka, aimed at deepening collaboration and exploring new opportunities in vaccine research and implementation.
The CIDRZ leadership team, including CEO Dr Otto Chabikuli, Chief Medical Officer Dr Carolyn Bolton-Moore, Chief Scientific Officer Dr Monde Muyoyeta and Basic Science and Immunology researchers Dr Caroline Chisenga and Mr Michelo Simuyandi, met with the IVI delegation, led by Dr Se Eun Park (CTC-Zam/OCV-AIS Principal Investigator).
During the visit, the teams discussed ongoing and upcoming projects, reviewed progress from the CTC-Zam initiative, explored potential future collaborations such as the OCV-AIS project, and identified strategic opportunities to advance vaccine research and delivery in Zambia and across the region.
This engagement marks another important step toward strengthening partnerships that support innovation, capacity building, and equitable access to life‑saving vaccines in Africa, working together to build the future of public health.
