Mr. Charles Mpundu is the current Board Chairperson for the Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia (CIDRZ). He is the President of the Actuarial Society of Zambia, and he has more than 25 years of professional experience in Profit and Non-profit making, both in the private and public sectors.

 He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Durham University UK, a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from Cass City University, and a High-Performance Leadership Program from Oxford University. He is an affiliate of the Institute of Actuaries, a member of the Institute of Directors, and an Honorary Life member of the Zambia Association of Pensions funds.
