Dr. Izukanji Sikazwe is CIDRZ’s Chief Executive Officer. She is one of the first beneficiaries of the African Union/Africa CDC Kofi Annan Foundation Fellowship and is a Council member of the Zambia National Health Research Authority.
She holds a master’s in public health (MPH) from Michigan State University, USA, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology (BSc.HB) from the University of Zambia. She has Certification in Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine, USA. She is a member of the Zambia Medical Association, the International AIDS Society, and the Infectious Diseases Society of America.
