Roma Chilengi, BSc, MB ChB, MSc- is presently Chief Scientific Officer at CIDRZ. Responsible for overall scientific oversight on all CIDRZ research programmes. Overseeing the institutional Clinical Trials Unit, Analysis Unit, Research Operations Unit, Data Management, Professional Training unit, and sits in the CIDRZ Leadership team and Executive Committee. Dr Chilenge established the Enteric Disease and Vaccine Research platform at CIDRZ. Dr Chilenge sits on the Zambian Ministry of Health Emergency Preparedness Technical Working Group, which has guided the MoH on policy and prevention measures related to COVID-19 in Zambia.
