The Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia (CIDRZ) has scooped the 2020 All Weather Friend Award at this year’s Zambia Medical Association (ZMA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Scientific Conference (SC).

The award was given to CIDRZ in recognition of the organisation’s unwavering dedication to addressing health matters and offering a selfless service to humanity.

And receiving the award, CIDRZ Chief Executive Officer Dr Izukanji Sikazwe thanked ZMA for recognising her organisation’s service to the Zambian Citizens in the health sector.

“The Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia (CIDRZ) would like to thank your Association for awarding us, the All-Weather Friend Award 2020 in recognition of unwavering dedication to addressing health matters and offering a selfless service to humanity, at the recently held ZMA AGM and SC in Lusaka” Dr. Sikazwe said.

She added that CIDRZ was truly honoured to receive such an award from ZMA and that her organisation really appreciated that their services were being recognized by a professional body like ZMA.

“We thank you for the support and we look forward to continued collaboration between ZMA and CIDRZ” She said.
